I believe you, and I can't blame him. This is train we should have hopped on years ago.

I figured that would bring the Brokeback Boys out of the woodwork. Have you ever noticed that even when we are losing people are paying attention to our program. Yo can't say that even when you are winning. Of course, as Cajun4life pointed out, that hasn't been happening for you lately either. Now, hurry on back to your little KY Cabin in the woods, little doggie.

When you are losing? When have you won (GASP!!). . .oh yeah, when Russ Faulkinberry was the coach. Wasn't that back in the 50's?

And, BTW, we dedicated our touchdown and lead at LSU 2 weeks ago, plus the 4 QB sacks to you guys. Seeing how your magnificent coach and program has never been able to do that at LSU in your HISTORY. . .we felt we would do it for you.

Good Luck on your next coaches hire, really. It's time for your program to start winning! Who knows you might just get more notoriety by winning instead of losing. Ah!! Reality what a concept!

Here's reality for you...at the end of the day we are still a D1A program while you are mired in D1aa obscurity. ESPN been knocking at your door anytime for TV appearances?

If LSU gave us the kind of effort they gave yall that week we would've scored 21 on them easy. No doubt in my mind. They may not put a full effort against us but they realize that we are a much more dangerous team than McNeese.

Let's clarify that a little bit, Hammer. At the end of the day you are still a bottom-of-the-barrel D1A program with no money to get to the big time. You are fodder for the big programs on the rent-a-win circuit even if you show up on ESPN, at home, on a Thursday, with OK State planting a +50 on you. Who did ESPN want to really broadcast - ULL or OKState??

But, I digress! It's sad to say and it really pains me to say it but even when we our little 1AA program comes over here at your invitation and plants a +38 on you guys. .(yawn) we are still mired in obscurity other than, well, HEADLINES: UL loses again, but this time to a 1AA school who is "mired in obscurity". How bad is that?

Seriously, I want you guys to succeed! I just don't think you are enough quality to benefit the character of our Head Coach. We'll keep him.

But, hey, I can give you credit for getting Tony Robe. Now he came from that little 1AA school mired in obscurity and got you guys to the CWS!

I can also applaud you for finding Bob Marlin from another Southland Conference school "mired in obscurity".

I just don't want that pattern to continue when looking for new football coach. That's all. Good Luck to you guys, Hammer.

Why would Coach Cook leave a job he freely admits it's the best he's ever had to go back to an employer that treated him like isht when he was there? That's a rhetorical question. How he was treated is a huge reason why my family has never donated a dime.

Didn't mean to jump down your throat. Cook's name comes up in every coaching thread, and it gets old fast. I'll just make it my signature from now on.

And are we really going to turn this into an LSU/McNeese ____ing match? 4 realz?

Okay, I'll bite. All I know is what was on the scoreboard at the game two weeks ago.

Next time your "dangerous" team plays LSU please take notice for me if they still have their starters in late in the 3rd quarter. I was asking myself, "What's going on?" Don't they realize we are a 1AA school and they still have the starters in?

Not fair, I said!! But, I'll tell you this, you guys go out next time and give 'em hell. Make them play their starters for the WHOLE game and win won for all of us little schools.

We're pulling for ya! Ya' know?

Gotta agree with the Cowboy fan here. We sucked hard @LSU last year. I wouldn't call our team "dangerous" on that day. We don't really have any rom to talk. We lost to the McNeese in 2007 (AND BUSTLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED IN THE LOCKER ROOM!).

Can y'all take the McNeese/LSU/LaTech/ULM talk somewhere else? It's a ridiculous conversation considering we probably couldn't beat Cecilia High at the moment. We should be concentrating on two things: shredding Bustle's contract and basketball season. Thanks.

Unlike you girls, we are not delusional enough to discount that OSU made it an attractive Friday matchup but it was still played and broadcast from Cajun Field. As was our earlier Sun Belt matchup, guess we were the draw for WSPN in that one. We may be at the bottom of D1A but we're still D1A and you're not. And while you have reached your ceiling we have room to move up. And speaking of moving up, thats just what both Robe and Marlin did when they came here. As Robe said, he came here because it offered more exposure and better opportunity for post season play. There's your reality.
