Yes Boomer you are right he got his J.D. (maybe i think from FSU) as well as studied some at Oxford in England. Obviously an intelligent man.

_ Ok. that is this year. he still had an outstanding team last year and that is with players that hadn't even been in his system a full year. is there anything else you don't like about him other than the fact that you are stuck on the fact he has had so many D-I transfers this year. UNA's transfer requirements are the standard of most university admissions in a 2.0 and being in good academic standing. there FTF standards are ACT of 18 SAT of 860 or 870 i think and a 2.0 core GPA of specified high school courses. not that much lower than our current standards if you think about it and not much lower if at all than many Div. 1-AA schools. _

I believe a lot better candidates are out there and if we were going to hire a Bowden it should be Tommy.

absolutely nothing. we definitely don't need another special teams guy coming and taking the reigns of our program again. you think we would have learned with the whole bustle thing. sure he recruits for OSU but he has no skill set he can teach the players other than cruddy kick and punt coverage and returns.

Nope not at all I don't think a high school guy should ever be considered for the head job of a D1 program. There are better candidates out there and I am not at all impressed with Terry Bowden.

Because we are already talking N. Alabama football lets talk about Mark Hudspeth who was the HC before Bowden. He won 12 games his final year at N. Alabama (he didn't leave the cupboard bare for ole Bowden). He is now the WR coach/passing game coordinator at Mississippi State. He figured his best chance to move into a HC position at a D1 school would be as an asst at a big school.

That is only one guy that I think would be a better choice than Bowden.
