I blew it when the kid stepped out of bounds and didn't get the first down---forgot the receiver but Bustle was chewing him out---I thought that maybe you teach that in August-----Man that was bad-----It was a fourth down and we lost possession!!!!

How many times did I hear 0 and 26 tonight. You are loosing to an 0 and 26 team. Over and Over and Over again hollered at the players. All the players did a great job of handling the heckling or heckler in the stands. I am proud of the them. Of course they did not like it, but they controlled themselves not doubt. Alot of fans sitting in my section controlled themselves also. We try to be a class act!! Like I said, it was a frustrating loss, why add to the frustration.
Alright guys, HUG IT OUT!!

In times of crisis, I like to look to "The Big Lebowski" for insight.
In this case, the following quote sums it up perfectly:
"You're not wrong, Walter. You're just an &^%hole."
You were wrong. I was on the sideline around the players and believe me they gave 110%. I saw several players praying and many cursing. The coaching staff failed not the kids. It is normal to have your feelings but it is not the NFL where they are adults getting millions for playing. So next time call for the heads of the coaches not the players.
Exactly, quite frankly I thought Zanders was the best player on the defense last year. I honestly don't know how Fleming gets all these accolades, because I never see him doing much of anything. Accolades or not he opened his mouth and revealed what everybody suspected all along. The coaches and consequently the team do not care.
Chris Masson has more common sense then alot of people on this board....Dont blame the players lol people really???? how can you not THEY LOST 54 - 21 and they were playing the game. How can you blame solely the coaching staff for fumbles, penalties, etc.According to Masson, the Cajuns players have to be accountable after allowing their most points to a conference opponent since a 52-21 loss to Arkansas State in 2007, committing three turnovers and getting outgained 409-351.
"We didn't execute well on offense, defense or special teams," said Masson, who passed for 223 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. "Everybody is at fault right now. Coach Bustle put this loss on himself, but I don't agree with that. At the end of the day, it is up to the players to come out and execute plays.
"The coaches can only take you so far. For some reason we are not getting it done."
Seriously If we aren't gonna yell at the players and the coaches aren't gonna yell at the players for playing like donkey ____..... who will???
I didn't know playing your heart out meant getting your ass whooped to the worst team in college football. Some of the people on this forum need to seriously quit lying to themselves
A number of Players played HOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIBBBBBBLLLLLLLEEEEEEEE yesterday. And the Coaches and playcallers were even worse.
Not being politically correct is one thing. Lack of respect for others is another. Not to mention the lesson you are teaching your children. Teach by example. You asked at the beginning of this thread "Tell me if I am wrong" yet when you receive an answer that you don't want to hear you are extremely defensive. Why ask everyones opinion? Your behavior was beyond wrong.
After reading this thread, it sounds like all the action took place somewhere in the stadium other than where I was sitting!!! How much would I have to pay to sit near this action?
I do not believe this act yesterday by a fan had anything whatsoever to do with the outcome of the game. When we suck as much as we sucked as a football program yesterday... we should be saying a little prayer that someone didn't burn the stadium down.
I absolutely seriously doubt our players are as feminine as some of you guys make them out. As a coach... if I ever caught a player turning around and reacting to a fan... he wouldn't be able to walk the rest of the week. When you fail.... you take the criticism. It is a beautiful thing. It works.
I believe one of the reasons we aren't a very good football program... besides the leadership... is the feminine nature we approach football. Football is just a game... but it is a "war game". It simulates battle so that we circumvent actual battle. It is supposed to be about men being brutal... under a set of rules. The spectators are also supposed to yell and scream any damn thing they want.
Would you girls please leave the room and stop gaying up our football program? That includes you girls parading around with scrotums. If I were a young man playing on this football team... the very last thing I'd want is for one of you girls to defend me.
Wow. Just wow.
I agree that our team is obviously approaching the game wrong. But you are supposed to be able to take kids to a game, so I disagree with your assertion that fans have the right to yell anything they want. You aren't supposed to be able to just launch profanity whenever you want.
I agree that the players shouldn't react to the fans. I agree that the coach should freak out when the happens. I've screamed at players before, but if you are sitting amongst players parents, they are going to come back at you. Bottom line.
I agree that the fan interaction with players had zero outcome on the game. We were outclassed in every facet by a program that hadn't won a game in nearly three years. But can we all just take a step back, and not be at each others' throats. The fans screaming of insults or scrotal parades had nothing to do with the result last night.
