I actually attended the first 15 minutes of basketball practice Tuesday. Listen to Billy's show Wednesday and read Thursday's newspaper for more on that.

Is the kid from Morgan City academically eligible? Just looking at who is recruiting him! Surely, there are a few kids from Texas or other states that we are looking at? What is the likelyhood that all of these kids are going to sign in November? Just curious and thanks for your sleepless nights!

Yes, Long has a qualifying ACT score and is on pace to be eligible. Tough to say why some schools are on Long and some aren't. Recruiting can be tough to understand, largely because most programs are looking for different things, skill sets, etc.

The Cajuns have some guys in other states on their radar. Just haven't written about them yet. Not enough sleepless nights.

Much more will become clear recruiting-wise in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Sun Belt Media Days are next Tuesday (West Division) and Wednesday (East Division).
