LAFAYETTE — For Rickey Bustle and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette football team, it’s time to go to Plan B. In their case, they’re hoping the ‘B’ stands for bowl. With their Sun Belt Conference title hopes all but quashed after a 31-24 loss

I almost shot coffee out of my nose when I read the title of this thread.
Bustle said it like I have been seeing it, "this coaching staff has brought a chemistry like no other coaching staff has ever done here at UL. A team which is constantly working short handed in depth". I saw this the year we lost 5 or 6 linebackers, the next year it was defensive backs, this year, a mixture of positions. I am not gonna say I have not thougth of " A change is needed" but in reality I don't want to see Bustle and his staff go but I want them get smarter and better at getting the best players we can.
What is it gonna take to get over the top and be a 8,9,10,11,or undefeated program ever year. Realistically, we will most probably never have this while I am alive but I go and I support, WIN OR LOSE, go home and moan and complain but I LOVE CAJUN SPORTS AND I will die wearing RED.
The logical answers I can give is giving our athletes full SUPPORT.
1) A GOOD DEGREE
2) GOOD FACILITIES, BOTH PRACTICE AND LIVING
3) GOOD COACHES
4) GOOD FAN SUPPORT WIN OR LOSE
Maybe with all this we can get the best athletes available and succeed.
Right now we have a Foundation, which I give, and I must say to accomplish the above we need a 5-10 thousand membership, way short of what we have now.
My feelings and thoughts
