TROY, Ala. — After missing the season's first five games with a foot injury, UL junior quarterback Brad McGuire returned to action in Saturday's 31-24 loss at Troy.

McGuire, who rushed for a team-high seven touchdowns last season, picked up where he left off a year ago as a short-yardage and goal-line specialist.
