Thread: No Big Bang: Ragin' Cajun basketball starts quietly under Bob Marlin

  1. Default No Big Bang: Ragin' Cajun basketball starts quietly under Bob Marlin

Colby Batiste succinctly summed up the philosophy that first-year UL men's basketball coach Bob Marlin has already instilled in his players since taking over the program last March.

"He's about business," said Batiste, a senior center from Lafayette. "It's a business approach on the court. When we're between the lines it's all about basketball."

I think Coach Marlin will be impressed with the kids. He has alot to work with. Andrews and Daigle have very good basketball IQ so they should be able to help Marlin get his offense implemented.

The article in the newspaper indicated that practice started today at 5pm. Does any one know where, and is it open to the puplic?

Practices are not open to the public. No word yet on a date and time for the open scrimmage.

Josh. Any word on when we get to see team or meet player. I hear Andrews hurt ankle at first practice and Gary's knee is swelling. Any other news out of Basketball.
