Rubin backs down from contempt threat
Fifteenth Judicial District Judge Ed Rubin, who Friday ordered City-Parish President Joey Durel and members of the Lafayette council to appear in court Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for a possible contempt of court hearing, backed down from the order Monday.
