Default Thanks for a great, great time!!!

My wife and I had a super time this past weekend in Lafayette. We were Betty and Jack, and I just want to give you all a big THANK YOU for making us feel so welcome. Thanks for all that Barta beer! I drank so much friday night that I had to buy a case to bring home, lol. The food and fellowship shown by you guys and all the rajun cajun fans that we met is what you hope to find, but seldom do these days.

I still am having trouble getting around after all the gumbo I have eaten....and then spending the day at the creole festival in the park on saturday. Well, thank goodness all your food is fat free!!!

Ok the game.....Great job by you guys. We knew going in that you had played well in first halves and we were a second half team. Pretty much that was it. You showed some real talent on offense. I hope this is a springboard game for your team. I still don't think we are very good, but we have spurts where we can score a bunch. We will see as we are getting ready to play the Nebraskas, Texas's, and OU's of the world.

Again, thanks for the hospitality. I'm hoping we set up another contract together in the coming years just so we can get back down there. Hell, I'll take a home and home! We owe you a good time in Stillwater. Hope some of you can make it up.

    Jack

    Jack-
Go to http://www.krewedechew.net/ and you will see some of your OSU folks partying away with the Krewe de Chew. Just go down the left side of the website and click on photos and video. They had a "blast", but so did we!

I know we have a return game at OSU. I plan on going up to see if we can "hookup" with some of the friendliest folks I've been around in a long time.

Do you all have a site similar to this one? If so, send me the address, please.

I wish you all the best for the remaining season. We, the Krewe de Chew, will be pulling for you all.

Jay, meant to tell you what great taste your fried turkey had. I need to get you secret of seasoning one. Mine never have the good taste yours had.

ZI doesn't travel much, I think, if he thinks that Oklahoma is in Yankee land!

"you all" vs "y'all" was my reference.

    But let's be honest, if you're north of I-10, you're a Yankee!

At least he didn't go the route of my Yankee cousins when refering to men or women "You guys"

Y'all without drawl is the best call.
