OHHH NOOOOOO we lost to the #22 team in the nation (top 5 in offense) by 28. FIRE BUSTLE B/C WE SHOULD'VE WON THAT GAME!!!! (<-sarcasm) God some of you sound so stupid right now...We lost to a team who is just simply better than us. And we played a hell of a game. Hell, we were down by only 13 at the end of the 3rd. Depth of the cowboys took over. Get over it guys. The players played their hearts out. The coaches prepared well for the game. I will say that once again bustle failed to make ANY adjustments at half but hey we fought in the 3rd quarter and hung with them. even after they went and scored 13 unanswered points to start the half. All in all, I dont have too many complaints in this game.

No - - we were lucky to score 7 points - getting outscored 37 - 7 when you have all of the momentum going into half isn't a moral victory. you might be ready to bustle up, but i'm ready to Bustle out !!!! This is bad coaching - -period !!

i don't have any complaints about how we played and i expressed my feelings on this game in a different thread. i don't think bustle needs to be fired just because of this game. with that said, he has for a long time been hammering the nails in his coaching coffin. let the man finish the season and then relieve him of his duties. i just hope the injuries don't hamstring us in conference play.

I agree he is a bad coach. And I didnt mean for this thread to sound like i think otherwise but blaming only him for this game is crazy. they were flat out a better team than us. The fact that we were up at half time was b/c of good coaching

You act like this is a little problem that can be easily overcome. This a HUGE problem. Sure the players played hard. Nobody said they didn't, but if the coaches continue to make zero adjustments at halftime, the players' hard work is not going to be enough when we play halfway decent competition.

Didnt mean for it to seem like that. I agree it's a big problem and it's frustrating to watch. Let me clarify...I think we should fire bustle at the end of the season unless we really turn it around but some people are acting like we just lost to fricken FIU

I do agree with waiting till the end of the year to fire him. I've never been much on middle of the season firings.

Maybe not .. But what was your prediction for the game? Did the game end any differently than predicted? I would also suspect that the first half went just a little different than expect. Maybe, since your a great coach. Resume please! The Athletic department may need it at the end of the year.

You guys always talk about adjustments at halftime unless you are in the locker room we have no idea what is said and done in there. And what adjustments would any of you make we were up 21-17 at halftime things seem to be working pretty good. So at that point why would you make adjustments just keep on keeping on. When the third quarter started and they scored three times really quick ok now adjust on the fly. The guys did play hard and like said earlier we got beat by a better team and got beat by the score most of us would have thought. Does Bustle need to go I think so but last night we just got beat by a better football team.
