After Redshirting in 1999 Chris is ready for his first snap. In the interim he has continued to develop strength and technique. For 2002 Chris Perrone is expected to add much needed depth at offensive tackle.

While attending highschool at St. Pauls from 1995-1998 Chris Perrone lettered each year for head coach Harry Nunez

According to Louisiana's media guide:"

• Saw time at offensive and defensive tackle and tight end
  
• Helped lead the Wolves to the 1997 state playoffs with a 7-3 record
  
• Named to the All-District 10-4A team as a senior
  
• Was a four-year letterman in basketball for head coach Monty Fontenot
  
• Helped lead the Wolves to the state playoffs from 1998-98 where squad lost twice to eventual state champion Ellendar High
  
• Also named to All-District 10-4A team as a senior after averaging 14.0 points, 10.2 rebounds.
