LAFAYETTE, LA – The Louisiana IceGators are proud to announce that on October 11 at 3:30, the IceGators will be having a media day. During media day the media will get the chance to talk to players, Coach MacIsaac, and the team doctor, Dr. Malcolm Stubbs.

Dr. Stubbs practices at Lafayette Bone & Joint in Lafayette. He is a doctor that is committed to excellence by pledging to provide the highest quality of orthopedic care to the community and the IceGators. “I am excited about the ability to work with the IceGators on a professional level and assisting them with their on ice performance,” stated Dr. Malcolm Stubbs about joining the IceGators. “I am going to do everything to help get these guys back to the ice quick and allow them to help the team win.”

“We are really looking forward to working with Dr. Stubbs,” replied IceGators Head Coach Dave MacIsaac. “We know he will do everything to keep our players health and help them return to the ice quicker.”

Media Day will take place at Dr. Stubb’s office while the ‘Gator players get their physicals for the upcoming season. The office is located at 1103 Kaliste Saloom Road, Suite 102.

“We are looking forward to finally getting the players here and getting the season on the road,” stated MacIsaac when asked about the upcoming media day. “This is the first step. All of our athletes will pass their physicals and be able to begin practice right away.”
