Reasonable considering the overall conference record is 11-29. 4-22 out of conference with only 2 of those wins vs 1A (FBS) teams

Yeah, but we are dangerously close to falling behind SEVERAL FCS conferences. That would be disasterous.

3 things have hurt the SBC very badly.

1) Dasher's stupidity. It cost MT and the SBC wins over Minnesota and Memphis.

2) Troy's bad luck. They lost to UAB on a last second Hail Mary pass.

3) FIU's horrific scheduling. Opening with Rutgers, Texas A&M, Maryland, and Pittsburgh was beyond insane. Not playing an FCS school or a MAC school in that list probably cost the league 2 wins.

Bottom line is the Sunbelt is having a horrific year, I thought that as soon as week 2

Looking at everyone's schedules for the rest of the year, SBC teams have OOC games left with OSU, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Ohio, Ole Miss, LSU, Navy, Texas, South Carolina, and Kansas St. Other than our game at Ohio, every SBC team will be a prohibitive underdog in each of these games. The SBC will most likely end up 4-32 or 5-31 in OOC play this year. I'm pretty sure that will give us the worst OOC record of any D-1 conference.

You can add a #4 - UL getting blown out by a bad Georgia team that is now 1-4 and #5 - SBC teams losing every OOC game to FBS teams.
