shows Justin Lustig is the Running Backs and Special Teams Coach
To me it seems like calling someone an Assistant Head Coach would be like stating a Garbage man is a Sanitation Manager. The wordplay looks more impressive on the resume and that is the effect of the reader. Just my thoughts on the title. But I don't see how he is any different from the other Assistants on OK St.'s coaching staff
whats the average salary for the OK St coaching staff? Is his pay substantially more?
Where do you find the salaries of the coaches?
One thing I do like about him is he has experience coaching both sides of the ball and that is important when taking charge of a team collectively.
seems that the cowboys secondary had tackling troubles that resembled our cajuns tackling struggles though
I found the link listing all assistant salaries and I can see the importance of his job now after doing a little research.

Gundy makes nearly 2Million a year avg. salary for an OK St. Assistant is 282,000ish
the DC OC and Asst HC(Deforest) make 360K
Oline coach 325k
Brewer 275k (outside receiver)
LB coach 250k
CB coach 190k
Inside WR 180k
It seems as though he is positioned to have overall responsibilities (like a HC is)... and, in addition to that, his specific area of focus is Special Teams. He then also serves as Recruiting Coordinator.
That has to be how they come up with $300k. If that is the case, then his value to the team is much more than a normal assistant coash assigned to special teams.
DeForest on paper makes me nervous but there's something about this guy that makes me like him. Just a feeling. And aslo, like Jay said, there has to be a reason he's getting paid around 360K. And I aslo like the point someone brought up eariler that since he isnt a offensive or defensive coordinator, maybe he will stay out of his OC's and DC's way and let them do their job. one thing is for sure, with deforest we wont have as bad as a kickoff return/ kickoff coverage as we had this past year.
