No joke stay as far away as you can from this one too at 40 percent alltime it fits just above the UL gold helmet.

The Cajuns helmet does include 2 wins from forfeits.

I thought it interesting to note how often a single season was the difference between a helmets winning and losing percentages.

For the solid Vermilion helmet 1974 was the difference between .452 and .600

For the Acadien helmet 1973 was the difference between .462 and .570

For the Cajuns helmet 1998 was difference between .500 and .560

For the White helmet 1958 was the difference between .482 and .558

For the USL helmet 1981 was the difference between .473 and .494 (ALMOST .500 but it was used for 17 years)

For the solid Gold helmet 1961 was the difference between .362 and .447

ps For the fleur-de-lis and Ragin' Cajuns helmets I can't find a year that would help.

Baldwin was fired for losing now UL needs to get rid of the Jerry Baldwin Ragin' Cajun helmet. We need to break ranks with losing, and losers.

I remember as a kid in the late 60's watching the Cajuns play to sold out crowds at McNaspy. That Acadian helmet brings back good memories.........

    Default That's awful

Both the helmets and the W-L record

    208-275-8 since 1957!

We are sorely in need of tradition.
