Until we show that we are serious about stopping the run, I can't predict a winning season. I say 5-6.

    Best case 8-3
    Worst case 2-9

I think we can win any of the games, except for the K-State game. On the other hand, we could lose any of those games as well. The easiest opponents are all on the road. Most of the toughest are at home. That makes predictions a little tricky. If our team comes together pretty well, the schedule is favorable to really put together a great record. If they struggle, it could be hard to string victories together. While that may seem to be a "no-brainer" statement, it is especially true with an unpredictable team like we have. Things are really starting to look good under Bustle, but they haven't proven themselves yet. This should be an interesting season. I am very hopeful of a break-out season this year, but I am a bit like the Missourians - they have to show me. I'm predicting 6-5 as sort of a middle ground. They could be much better or worse than that. I think they will do better, but after the past 8 years, I'm still in a wait-and-see mode.

    Geaux Ragin' Cajuns !!!!!!!!!

5-6 is my prediction, slow steady improvement.

I agree. 5-6 at best. Too many questions to be answered. Again,...sloooooooooow steady improvement is what I think. JMO!

    uslcajun,

are you not on the UL bandwagon?

your perogative for sure, just curious as to why not..

    Thanks,

I figured you'd say that. See above reply from Hot Boudin for my reasoning.

Don't doubt me! I am on the bandwagon alot more than you may think I am! ;o)

no, no, my distinguished colleague......not the predicted finish of the 2004 ftball season, its the usl, ul laf, uslcajun reference.....

What with all of us striving oh so hard to rid ourselves of the hideous city tag forced on us by the "self proclaimed flagship", I was just curious as to why you choose to continue to use these references...

certainly that is your perogative kind sir, just my odd curiosity.

    Thanks in advance partner.....

    pssssst,......hey Z. How's this? (see below)

The "uslcajun" part goes waaaaaay back to when I was a little younger. First UL (usl at the time) game I ever attended was vs. McNeese state waaaaaaaaaaaay back a looooong time ago, I think in the mid to late 70's. It's sort of a sentimental thing I guess you could say.

very good sir....hope to meet you this fall.

Really think we have taken a step backwards if we ndont win more than we lose....

  11. Default

I think the Cajuns could go 6-5 I really do. Better start getting ready for the whipping of 2006 though

See this is almost the type of Tiger smack I can tolerate.....

The fact that it comes from you blows my mind...

Thanks for not "putting us in our place", like you usually attempt to do.

They are lame attempts by the way.....

    we'll worry about 2006 in 2 years....

    Z.
