I took ps2roster guys rosters and made adjustments of my own. I think we all agree that our team (for one) is grossly uderrated. I also have tried controling the reciever and making the catches myself, no luck. I'm at a loss for what to do. I think I am going to pick another team (a better one) to see if I have the same results. But its not like I'm playing LSU or anything, La. Tech lit me up last night. Northwestern gave me a game. I CANNOT COMPLETE PASSES. That should not be the case game in and game out no matter who your team is (unless its the Aints) and no matter who you are playing.

bigearl, do you play on normal mode or quick mode for passing?

Second season of dynasty mode, 50% copmletion rate for Babb, 11-0, my discipline is c, but I am winning. Run the ball and only throw when you have to.

I too can get very frustrated. I mean passes hitting players in the numbers drop the dang ball. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is not control them at all. just hike the ball, the computer will control the QB. If the computer sees an open guy before you do, it will pass for you. I seem to catch a few more times. (Although Im not actually doing anthing) which is not really considered "playing the game". You can always take control if you see a better opportunity (ie. keep it and run)

I didnt realize that you could edit the individual players. I might try that when I get home. There is no reason they should be droping so many passes. They would not be playing college football if they couldnt catch.

Turbine, I am on quick, and I've dabbled a little with normal but it seems the same results occur... dropped passes.

For those who are just as frustrated as I have been, I have some good news. I just finised my 2nd season & started my 3rd on the All-American level last night. I had a great recruiting class and I played my 1st game vs LSU last night. I won 35-7. I was one long pass away from a shutout.

My point now is that just hang in there and things will get better. As the players develope they get better. Babb was unbelievable in his 1st game as a Senior. 8-11 180 yds passing with about 30 yards rushing.

This game is getting fun again. I cant wait to get home and play some more.

    Great!

I just started my first Dynasty mode team and I have a sneaky plan. don't know if it will work, but I have a plan

I am going with 2 minute quarters and hopefully this will rank me high in defense nationally, which I can use to recruit next season.

I play with normal passing mode which takes longer to get the hang of, but I think the game rewards you for it.

I have played and beaten both Monroe and Tech. Winning 10-0 and 7-0 respectivly. I lean heavy on the rushing even when it might kill a drive, but Babb did go 4-4 passing against Tech.

I'm having fun right now but I sure am scared about the next game.

I'm starting to get better at reading the defenses and it is helping my completion percentage. One thing I have noticed (that I never tried before) is that stepping up instead of out of the pocket helps a lot on some routes. The computer is still 8 of 45 though!!!!!
