Sorry bigearl it was falling off the the 1st page of the RagePage so moved it to games. I should wait longer than that, it's back.

I have been trying to finish MVP 2004 baseball so I haven't really jumped in yet. I feel your pain though "frustrated with sub-40%"

I don't know if this will help or not but in the official game guide it has the best pass play for the Cajuns as No Back-Normal: Outer Loop

Bigearl .. I can feel your pain. I just started my 2nd season on the All-American Level. I played Alabama last night & Babb was 13-44 passing. That is just terrible. I have found that the receivers MUST be completely open and have a favorable matchup.

what bothers me is not neccessarily the misses from a bad throw by the QB once in a while (even the great ones can't hit every pass) or from good coverage because that is realistic. What gets me is when I hit someone in stride and they drop the ball. Good players too. I'm at my ropes end with this game because of the horrible passing. I almost rather 2004.

When all else fails you can always change the gameplay settings. Increase passing accuracy and catching.

I already have the passing and recieving at 20 an dthe def. awarness at 0... still no luck. Maybe I just suck!

No its not just you. I was on the Tech board tonight & everyone is complaining about the same thing.

I give up... I am about to through this game off of a bridge. This is the wrost "playing" football game I have ever played. After 10 games I am 29% completion percentage. I have tried EVERYTHING and nothing works. This sucks eggs!

I haven't started a dynasty yet but I am having a lot of success running the ball.

In my 2nd season on the All-American Level I started the season 0-3. I was feeling the same frustrations as bigearl.

Well last night I started my comeback. I brought in Sniewski & I also started mixing up run & pass. I have come to the conclusion if that you can run the ball somewhat the passing game will follow.

Bigearl .. my passing went from around 10%-15% to right around 50%. The receivers are still only catching the ball 1/2 of the time but they are catching it when it counts. So dont give up .. just try another strategy. It might be strategy 100 or 200 but keep after it.

It's the dropped passes. How is it that Sampy consistantly drops wide open screen passes? I'd love to see what would happen if he did that in real life!!!!!!!!!

Question 1: Is it possible for the ps2roster guys to have the wrong settings for a player?

Question 2: I haven't played enough to know, but with all the yearly game tweaks, is it possible EA wants you to push a button to try and catch it yourself.
