I just got the game and would be more than happy to answer any questions. Cajunfield is still the same (seats in both endzones), but the more I think about it, I'd like to see us put seats in the endzones eventually, so no big deal. Also the uniforms are the same as last year (arched Ragin Cajuns on the helmet). Also not a big deal for me b/c I like our uniforms. There is a 70 man roster limit. I only played for a second (ULM vs. Louisiana) at the swamp. The home field advantage feature is awesome. The Cajun fans were pumped and the meter came on. Also the graphics are unbelievable. I have the PS2 and the graphics are so crisp, you can see the players' leg hair (maybe a little too graphic!) Also the field looks amazing, so far, this is shaping up to be the greatest game of all time for me. I am biased b/c this is the only game I play so take that with a grain of salt.

Do yourself a favor and go buy this game. well worth every penny.

Not sure what you mean about the graphic Turbine. Let me guess, you want the U helmet? I don't think you can do that... although it would be nice!!!!!!!

I just got the game also. Pretty much the same as 2004 with a few additions. Crowd Meter, Match Up controls, Timeouts (you can pump up a portion of your team)

The controls have not changed. All in all its a really cool game. Now I am really ready for some football.

anyone missing from the cajuns that we'll have to add? I see Desormeaux isn't there.

Just a reminder, check out www.ps2rosters.com. This guy does all of the rosters for every team. He is very accurate and very reliable. The game is much better with the rosters (names instead of numbers). I think the rosters will be done on July 20th.

Last year I went one by one and entered the names.

Does the height and weight speed etc match the names?

I just got back from EB Games where I was able to trade in 2004 for $2 and then had to purchase 2005 for like $50 (kinda like buybacks at UL). Anyway, I'll be getting off of work shortly and plan on going home, sitting on my sofa and playing for the next 4 hours! Well, maybe not that long, but who knows. Hope its as good as y'all are saying it is.

ps2rosters.com are very accurate, but anything you think is inaccurate you can easily change yourself. Usually the smaller schools like ours aren't given as much attention to detail, so you may have to do some tweaking, but it is well worth it. And besides, it's free. The guy asks for a donation of like $3 which is well worth his trouble.

I am in the middle of playing my 1st game of season 1. I have already found a problem with the game.

The crowd keeps cheering "UL Lafayette". Who is Lafayette?

did you also notice the "ULL" on the scoreboard. that really bites. I got spanked by ULM 26-0 in my first game. I guess I have some work to do!
