Clarke will play the 4. (Coach Marlin likes having his biggest mismatch at the 4.) The Cajuns have five scholarships and hope to sign five early.

It's so nice to finally beat out a Utah State and Houston for a kid rather than 'stealing" them away from Nicholls and Southeastern !!!

Gradnigo had offers from Arkansas, Notre Dame and Cincinnati ... and we know how that worked out.

The fact that Clarke said he could see himself settling down in Lafayette after basketball says a lot to me. Our coaching staff makes a hell of an impression. Give these guys some more time and the sky is the limit.

I hear what you are saying and I agree, however, I think that the city, facilities, culture, ladies and way of life here probably had more to do with his statement than the coaches since I'm sure he could care less about how good of a coach Marlin and staff are if he's talking about settling down after he's finished playing.

Lafayette is a great place. It's always translated into great recruiting in basketball and re spring sports, not so much in football
