Looked like a damn good crowd---Anybody get the count--no doubt that the scanners were probably not doing their job and we under report the actual attendance!!!

It was a good crowd and a good atmosphere. Had a good time. Wish the on field performance of our QB would have matched our crowds intensity.
17k and some change

a little under 17,250... expect that much if not fewer in 2 weeks. I'm trying to be positive but its hard to see anything positive coming out of the game tonight. I will never down any of the players but our coaching is so poor that it reflects in our play. we straight up got out coached by a team that had 3 or 4 starters out. I would have hated to see the change in play calling by MT if Dasher was eligible. They ran the same 6 or 7 plays and our D-Coordinator never made the adjustments to even try and disrupt the swing passes or the screens. No reason for us to come off a bye week and fall flat on our faces like that. That is a coaching problem not anything to do with the players.
The announced attendance for UL's game Saturday against Middle Tennessee was 17,249. In a 31-24 win over Arkansas State on Sept. 11, an announced crowd of 15,103 with a heat index of 118 degrees on the field.
That was the smallest crowd for the Cajuns in a home opener since 15,605 showed up for a 48-7 win over North Carolina A&T on Sept. 23, 2006.
Beat North Texas next weekend and then promote the hell out for that Friday nite game. The season is not over even though it felt like it last nite watching that c--p, but we better be ready to play North Texas. If they beat us then the stadoum will be pretty much empty.
