:o i am in withdrawal!!! so i've decided to vent a little about softball. i find it down right disrespectful that softtball league would rank the lady cajuns at #9, if thats what it is in the pole! you are telling me a team that has won 60 games, has got one of the top pictures in softball, and will return everyone next year don't deserve better, what kind of nonsense is that,......so what they are saying is, we don't think you will be any better!wo we will just go ahead and put you here,i think is a slap in the face. that is why i didn't vote for "all the above" on the web pole. i realize that poles(softball) don't mean anything in the whole scheme of things, but, i am one who think it's down right in your face no respect, none. now! i've said it no matter if anyone say differently, still i have a long way to go......................................

I'm bored too, so I'll respond. What the heck are you talking about! Unless you have seen a poll different than the "end of season rankings" I'm confused. We were ranked 10th in the final season rankings. I really can't find too much to argue over there. We did not make it to the softball CWS, so you can't expect to be in the top 8. The pre-tournament National #1 dropped to #9, and we were next at 10. When it comes time to have a pre-season ranking (if they do one for softball) for next year, I would suspect we are still in the top 10, if not a little higher due to our projected starting roster, a returning first team all-american pitcher, and improved depth.
