Starting on Oct. 23, Abbeville will have its very own Open-Air Farmers Market, providing locals and tourists with a real taste of Abbeville.

For the opening farmers market on Oct. 23, Garrot said there will be approximately 28 to 30 produce, craftsman and artisan vendors who will be selling items such as mustard greens, cut and cleaned okra, citrus, eggs, breads, tarts, jarred goods, peeled pecans, local honey, and possibly cucumbers and tomatoes.
