The UL Intramurals and Aquatic Center will help students beat the heat by distributing free popsicles at the UL bus stop on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Wednesday, students can "Get on Board" with organizations and clubs around campus. Sign up is in the Quad from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Thursday, have your cake and win prizes too! Free cake and drinks will be available for students in the Quad from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. UL's Orientation staff and Student Government Association are sponsoring the giveaway and will award a variety of prizes throughout the day.

The 4th annual Kickoff Classic Block Party will round out the week. The University Program Council will close down Rex Street from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and pack the street with free food, drinks, prizes, and did I mention fun! A pep rally will start at 11:45 a.m. Come out and meet Coach Rickey Bustle and senior football players.
