  2. UL 1984, 1999 . . . . Re: University of Louisiana Making Name Strides

Well I think the most important thing I learned in his experiment is that Cajun children are smarter than chimps from a very young age, and both are smarter than the War Hoax, and any LTU bulldog.

So if the name changes to leave off Lafayette is that going to make a difference in the school's status?

Not on the front end but on the back end (getting a job) "of Louisiana" and "ULM" will be of more credit than "at Lafayette" and "at Monroe"

1984 graduates of the "University of Louisiana" can attest.

My wife and I saw that show the other night and really enjoyed it.

  8. Default The Great Chimp Tech Boom

Chimp tech isn't at the level of the iPad Mini, but some clever primates are innovating and spreading their methods.

  9. Default Research animals to head for life of retirement at Chimp Haven

More than 100 chimpanzees will be moving from the New Iberia Research Center to the federally funded Chimp Haven sanctuary in northern Louisiana over the next 12 to 15 months as part of a plan announced Tuesday. The plan comes less than a month after a Lafayette-area researcher and others sued to force the federal government to allow the chimps to retire
