LAFAYETTE — Quarterback Chris Masson knew it was only a matter of time before his offensive linemen showed how passionately they felt about gaining redemption.

That moment came quickly Saturday — on the first play from scrimmage — when University of Louisiana running back Kevis Streeter exploded through an expansive hole and then outraced the Arkansas State secondary for a 69-yard touchdown run.
