I dare anyone to read this without getting fired up for baseball at the Tigue!

As mutch criticism as the DA deserves from time to time, they have come out with an excellent well-timed piece with this one.

How about the fact that UL only has one (1) CWS appearance and has never really done anything since then?

Why can't you just except this fact, LSU has a much better baseball prpgram than the peppers? the peppers will never acheive anything even remotely close to LSU in baseball or general aths for that matter.
Pay attn jr., the post was from 2004. You are not very intelligent, huh?

you posted genius. Look at the end of this season LSU will be ranked higher than the peppers. And just like everything else, LSU is better than ULL.

I wish that LSU would play the peppers this yr, b/c Laval ran the program into to the ground and yet it still made two appearances at the CWS and eliminated the peppers in the only time they meet in tournment play.

Why oh Why must pepperfan lie to make your program look better than it is? YOu play in the SunBelch, LSU plays in the SEC, the SEC sends teams to the CWS almost every year and the SunBelch gets lucky every once and while.

Here's the thing, the peppers are not that good in baseball, both Tulane and LSU have much better programs. Face it.

We do try to "except" LSu from most our discussions, but someone like you always seems to find a way to interject the tiggers back into it.
I know that it is accept, it was an editing mistake.

Smoke had the highest winning % in the SEC since he was hired. How is that running a program into the ground? Is it his fault the fans got him fired for no reason at all. Face it, both UL and LSU got screwed last year when the brackets were announced. LSU jumped the gun in firing Smoke.

Smoke was a terrible hire to begin with, Bertman wanted to control at least a percentage of the funds from the camps and none of the other candidates would agree to those conditions.

LSU should have opened the search and they did not. I like the hire that LSU made now, Minarei (sp) did as much or more ND than UL did in the last 5 yrs. ND pretty much ignores baseball and yet he did well.

Honestly, if football and basketball are winning, that is what really matters. I want LSU to be good at everything from all sports to academics, but you must pick and choose where to expend the most effort. Football first b/c it is the money maker. Basketball second, then baseball, then women's sports.

I'm pretty sure no one on this board asked for your input. Here's a news flash for you. You see that little red dot by your name? That means that no one here likes you or cares what you have to say. I know that LSU fans don't have a lot of intelligence and it shows when you don't get the hint. This is a Ragin' Cajun forum not a Tigger forum. So pack your bags go back to what ever rock you crawled out from. Let the grown ups talk about things that actually matter.

No worries Z, he'll learn that sort of thing when he starts high school and his preparatory work for the ACT.

One SPECIAL thing that takes place @ the Tigue that pretty much goes unseen/unnoticed is the fact that we (in box #20), give the opposing teams' bullpen as much food and beer as possible along with heavy doses of _____ talking. This strategy tends to work for the majority. We've had instances where the pitcher didn't even get to warm up and he's called in with a mouth full of boudin after chugging an ice cold Miller Lite.............great times lead to great wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Coker still played we would sit there and say, "Oh Oh, someone call the police! Coker just stole another base!" Ahhhh those were the days.

From what I'm hearing we have a young man who is said to be faster than Coker. Looks like we might have bring that joke back out of the old bag.

PS Jay I know you like your catch phrases: "Dunk you very much" etc. Just wanted to let you know that you can feel free to use the "Call the police" phrase at your leisure. Just address the royalties check to Kal and leave it under the 5th chair of the 5th row of the grandstand at the end of each game.
