Default High School Football Week 1

What did everyone think about their schools performance in week 1?

    My thoughts on Loreauville.

Defense looked real good. If our linebackers were 5 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier, they would be D-1 prospects. Our DB's are young but very athletic and will shut down most receivers.

Offense looked good at times. Passing game is hit and miss like always with our QB. Run game is crazy like usual. BJ Greene ran for 249 yards and 3 TD's on 14 carries. He's not like most older RB's from here. He doesn't just have speed. He hits the hole and somehow stays on his feet most of the time after the first hit.

Special teams we suprisingly good. Jacody Ford returned punts and only muffed one. He would have scored on one return if he was faster. Our kicker is automatic. He doesn't kick them far, but he puts them through the upright.

I was surprised by the amount of big hits in the game. That's one thing we were lacking in the past few years. We just didn't have the killer instict to finish teams anymore. This game could have been much worse than 49-7. We slowed down the game in the 3rd quarter and started running the clock out. On to next week. We play at Hanson. They played Acension Catholic this week but I couldn't find a score.

Don't give me that crap Red. We all watch high school football and some of the kids end up at UL. I want to hear about other schools in the area so I posted the question.

I was also impressed by B.J. Greene, he finally seems like he's putting it all together. Coach Del finally has this program back, it'll be a great year for some Tigerball!
