The Ragin' Cajun defensive backs suffer from the lack of a pass rush. If they get any help at all up front, they could prove a very solid group at season's end.

The discussion must start with cornerback duo Dwight Bentley and Orkeys Auriene who are on the list for best starting pair in the conference.

This guy has a pretty good grasp on each team's personnel and that's pretty impressive. However, I'd put the Cajuns ahead of MTSU for this year. Both teams will have to hope for a pass rush to enable their secondary to do the job. MTSU lost a lot up front from last year's defense and I think our DL may be better. I expect to see more pressure on the QB and I think Bentley will explode this year. I've had a chance to see some of our games from last year and I saw what must have been about 4 missed INT's in his hands that he dropped but made fantastic jumps on the ball and that was at LSU and against NT. If he creates those same opportunities this year, he'll easily get 7+ int's and Auriene is another solid corner. We have, with no doubt, the two best cover corners in this league and I think that our safeties will be every bit as good as MTSU's
