Algiers' All-Star game part of the process of reviving league
Graylin Warner finished with 41 points and 16 rebounds to lead Northside to a 122-119 victory over Southside at the inaugural Algiers Hoops All-Star game Saturday morning at the L.B. Landry gymnasium in Algiers.
Warner, who leads the 35-and-over league in scoring with 25.4 points per game, also blocked 10 shots and was chosen the Most Valuable Player.
"Our big guys were hitting the boards and beating them inside," Warner said. "This forced Northside to get into a set offense that allowed myself to block a few shots that started our fast breaks."
