Also, a nice article about Softball's Wallace, who picked Louisiana over Texas & Arkansas.
That one is particularly interesting, because if the Lotiefs can out-recruit programs with those resources, what could they do with a little more resources???

neither of the links lead to the articles they are suppose to...
I searched a little and found the direct link to the softball story, so I figured I'd share
http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/06...eflective.html
and for some reason every time I clicked on the espn link it would go to an error page so I found the correct link and I'll share that too

Tough to play the race card when he replaced a black coach and his replacement was another black coach.

You're thinking of Jerry Baldwin, aren't you?
I don't understand the use of the words"but Glynn contends" on the heels of the words "falsified résumé" I thought the word "BUT" was used to undo the previous statement. He doesn't undo it, he says he fixed the problem. In the end what UL claimed was true, and in the end he had to go back to school to get a job elsewhere. The school claimed he had submitted a falsified résumé, but Glynn contends he hand-delivered the appropriate résumé after a wrong one was inadvertently submitted and filled out his paperwork appropriately.
That would be like congressman Weiner saying his sending inapropriate pictures of himself was ok because afterwards he sent wholesome pictures of himself.
How does this sound: Twitter claimed Weiner had submitted a porn pic, but Weiner contends he hand-delivered a normal picture after his porn one was inadvertently hacked and his new pic filled out ... appropriately.
He said technically it wasn't a lie because his fingers were crossed.
What a loser.

He also doesn't mention the time gap between his falsie resume ... his going back to school ... and his hand delivering a fully qualified resume.
