With due respect, what do they know? Baldwin, Lee, silvy, Rogers? Cosistently not hiring the right people is becoming the norm.

His corrected transcript would not have qualified him for the job either. Lacrosse is a joke.

IMO Lee should have been named the interem coach after the Cypien debacle. Once the season was over we should have conducted a national search for a new head coach. Had we done that we might not be in the position we are in now.

Coach Lee is in over his head as the head coach of a once proud university. He is outcoached in nearly every game and we have yet to gel as a team. He is better than Coach Rogers but that is a different topic.

We should have just kept Coach Cyprien. I think he would have done great for this university!

I don't think we could have kept him. If I remember correctly, his degree came from an online university that was not accredited. Therefore, he could not be hired by the university.

I thought we fired him b/c he lied to us about where he got his degree from. I believe be said his masters degree was from an actual university or something like that and while he attended this school he in fact finished his masters online. If the university was not accredited he would prolly not be an asst. coach at Kentucky right now.

He did not havea degree from an accredited univeristy. He was a few hours short of having his degree from the college he acutaly attended and played for (UTSA?). I think one resume stated he had a degree from that school and the other showed the degree from the non-accredited on-line school. Since all of that mess he did return to school and complete his degree requirements at an accredited university. I believe that was also prior to his joining the staff at Kentucky.

Brad, just a suggestion. Not somebody you should reference as a role model.

My apology for the fear that inspired my post. The question should be if they are good coaches and are they performing up to the expectations set forth by the University? If that is the question then I'll simply answer to Rodgers, Lee, and Bustle, Thanks for your service to UL. Good luck in your next position. _

You are right, Lee was not the first "choice". However, the first choice was Glen Cyprien and he too is black.

You are correct, but Glen Cyprien also knows how to coach! He was an assistant at Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Western Kentucky, and Memphis.

Compare that resume to Lee who was at Opelousas High School and was an assitant at UL prior to becoming the head coach.

I know that Cyprien had some issues with his resume, but we should have docked him a certain percentage of his pay and made him attain the degrees which he listed on his resume.

In reality I'd bet that 90% of people who support our team don't really care what degrees our basketball coach has as long as he can produce a winner without cheating!

It's a tad more difficult than that. The board would not have approved the hire because that degree from an accredited school is a requirement to be hired in that position.
