Throughout much of Central America the tax structure is setup so that taxes are paid on new construction once it is finished. Lots of rebar stuck out the top of many buildings down there so they can claim they aren't finished yet.

Maybe these Mexicans everyone one is talking about are really from a little further south. There just doing there best to keep ole Uncle Sam off our backs.

Just looked at my user CP and saw that I got a red dot for my comment on this thread with the comment that I was "spreading lies."

That is my first red dot, do I get a prize or red dot membership welcome package??

So, is the softball stadium completed? If not, what is left and why not? If so, it would be nice to see pictures of the outside of stadium and the grounds to get a feel for what the whole facility looks like. Pictures were posted from inside the park, but what about around the outside? Can anyone post those pictures?

I took these two a couple of days ago. They are finishing up the brick work along the support I beams and working to finish the inside work in the club room and suites. My understanding is they will be installing black wrought iron railings in between the bricked columns along the outside of the upper level. I know they still had to install the speakers along the front of the grandstand roof. I think they also plan to do something with the netting by removing some of the support poles to clean up the view as much as possible. I don't know how this will be done, but is what I heard.

In the origional drawings they had several domers on top of the roof. I wonder if they still plan on putting them up. They are pre-fab and screwed in place. It would look like the Kentuckey derby stadium. I think they have domers on the roof there.
