UL meeting the need

  Thousands of college students will report for their first fall class at UL today.

Some will commute, others will bike and some will walk out of their new apartment-style student housing.

During the summer, an addition to Legacy Park was completed, and 180 new beds were added to the student housing near Girard Park.

Two questions from the article:

(1) The article states that demolition of the Student Union could begin this spring. I was under the impression that the Union was merely going to be renovated.

(2) The article states that the "first renovation of O.K. Allen Hall, where Student Health Services is located, could begin in the winter." When I was at UL (I graduated in 2008), Student Health Services were located in what is labeled as the Saucier Clinic on the campus map at louisiana.edu. Are Student Health Services moving to O.K. Allen Hall? Have they already moved? Is this a mistake? I was also under the impression that Student Health Services were going to be incorporated into the new Union.

Finally, if anyone has pictures of these new brick patios, please post.
