I want somebody who can COACH. Ricky Broussard is the best COACH you have on the poll. His track record is awesome,
USL Graduate, All Conference shortstop so he knows what playing college ball is all about, Coached in the Southland(2 NCAA Appearances,at Nicholls WOW!!) do you know how hard it is to win at Nicholls state!, coached 1 NBA Player, coached in Sun Belt(ASST. at USL) Conference USA(South Florida) and SEC, and he's from here!Yeah we can go on a national search and get an assistant from a big name school, but Ricky can provide all that. GO RICKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know much about all these guys, even the present staff. Noticed in the coach bios that Coach Lee was a student assistant to Ricky B at Nicholls. Wonder if he'd be interested in staying "if" RB got the gig, or if he needs to be the HC now.

Good point, they might make a great staff!

After hearing the press conference it has to be Robert Lee.

You've also got to like former players stating it should be Lee (re: Delphi comments).

What's up with not letting people vote without registering? Looks like someone may not be liking the results!!!

We are suffering from hanging chads.

Hopefully this move is temporary, the control panel poll counter shows the majority of guest votes coming from the same IP#, many just a minute apart.

This affected both favorites, sorry for the inconvenience.

Got to get back into this one---I "pol"ed for Ricky last time(Positive and Negative feelings about RB are strong, including those from big backers and admin)---BUT---This guy can coach. Most of his teams at Nicholls were fun to watch, not so much from the "Wow-factor" as from the pure team basketball factor, and they won a lot of games. Robert played for Ricky as a senior hold over--he's a good disciplined young man---Eric Mouton coached with him for a year or so here at Nicholls. From solid citizen position, RB and RL fill the bill.

I'm with you on that one Cajun 71. I have been talking to many people inside the UL "Circle" and there seems to be a ground swell for Rickey. I think they are hearing that he will put people in the stands, and just as you stated, a Rickey , Robert Lee and perhaps Eric Mouton staff would be pretty impressive. Or maybe his brother Danny! Lets go Homeboys!!!!!!!!!
