Thread: Predict the final 2010 SBC Standings

    1. Troy
    2. Cajuns
    3. North Texas/MTSU tie
    4. FAU
    5. ASU
    6. FIU
    7. WKU

I felt that MTSU would take a step back even before the Dasher issues. I think they will be a solid team but I'm unsure that they can play at the level of last year. They lost some good players and don't seem to have replaced them with the same level of player or better. Plus, they were on one of those runs where they were just playing so well as a group. That is hard to duplicate.

Troy is still the most talented team in the league and has the best WR's by far, even with Josh Jarboe being dismissed.

Cajuns are set up to be the sleeper. Nobody is talking about us even though we return the most starters and our entire offense is intact and will be back next year also. Our defense has the most depth and talent on the DL that we may have had in a long time and we may have the best group of LB's and CB's in the league. If the running backs can make plays and the DL can sack the QB, we can easily win this thing.

    we could only hope!

If he would have gone through and picked each game as instructed he would have a record for each team and to be sure have 36 wins and 36 losses.

I think he should have to go back and redo it game by game like we did.

Hell, you couldn't even come up with an accurate amount of outcomes!

no one said this was easy!

The last few people took the easy road and just listed the teams instead of actually taking the time to pick each of the 36 games and come out with a final outcome. You'll be shocked by what you come up with of you do it game by game. Sports are so hard to predict...

I think this spicies it up a notch in making up pick 36 games to come up with a final standings.

I can promise you, the process will not test my brainpan and therefore, I'm not worried about it. However, the time it takes to do this often makes it difficult to stay the course.

And actually, if you look, I was replying to your question about what we thought about those teams specifically. I had no intention of listing outcomes specifically but rather, actually answering your question.

OK, now it should be easier you all get the first answer of test given to you.

Fill out the winners from each game in post 1 of this thread, and you'll come up with the final sunbelt standings for the year. Please show the team name, and the SBC record. It should all add up to 36 wins and 36 loses.

Post them here, and will see who is closer.

    GOOD LUCK!!!

    1. Troy 7-1
    2. MTSU 6-2
    3. Louisiana 5-3
    4. FAU 5-3
    5. ASU 4-4
    6. FIU 4-4
    7. NTSU 2-6
    8. ULM 2-6
    9. WKU 1-7
