Well, I don't know much about basketball, so bear with my logic here. I don't know who the heck Butch and Tic are, so they're out. I'm hesitant to vote for Rickey Broussard, because if I'm not mistaken, he's at LSU right now, and last time we had a former LSU assistant come and head one of our programs (Coach Baldwin - Football) he drove it into the ground, so Rickey's out. If Coach Evans is goin' out west to interview with USF, it shows his heart's not here and he's not happy, so he's out. I give my vote to Coach Lee. He knows the team, knows the area, and from comments i've heard, cares about disciplining the team.

Please don't compare Ricky Broussard with Coach Baldwin. That's like comparing Larry Bird with Michael Southall!

I would like to see Jesse Evans out of the coaches mentioned above. Jesse has done a remarkable job with the resources he's been given.

If it's true that Jesse HAS, in fact, accepted the San Francisco job then I would have to choose Butch Pierre as my second choice. Butch is an unbelievable recruiter and would have us at the top of the Sun Belt on talent alone. I have no clue as to how good his actual coaching skills are but he can always find good asst.'s to take up that slack if he's lacking in that dept.

I'm with you UL96, I wish the administrations would relent and match (or come close to) USF's offer. 200G with incentives and a 5 year confidence contract sounds about right to me. I propose Dennis Felton like clauses in favor of the UL as well.

If Jessie leaves I would like to see Robert Lee because I think he has the best chance of keeping the current team intact.

I do have one big concern which I pointed out this morning on "Thinking Out Loud." Because Jessie is such a players coach, I hope the team does not walk away like Jon Van Cleave did when Bustle was hired.

I think Nelson Schexnayder should personally hand out a questionnaire to each member of the team even those suspended asking for their input. Not that he ahs to listen they may be divided but it would be a good internal PR move.
