BTW, guess this flies in the face of what we hear from all those fans from the "baseball isn't important" programs. Our baseball and softball teams are giving us good things to talk about long after the season was over for those other programs.

Interestingly, there is still no mention of Coach Robe's award on the SunBelt website. You would think the SBC would jump on such an honor as a prestigious thing for the conference. Then again, when does the SBC do anything for UL?

after reading this thread, an email was sent to the Sunbelt website asking why they weren't recognizing Coach Robe and his latest accomplishment on their website. The story is now on the website.

They just copied the article that was attached to the email and posted it.
