Thread: Ian Burks finds himself a stranger in a familiar land

  1. UL Football Ian Burks finds himself a stranger in a familiar land

UL — It might be a misconception to describe an area that includes three fifth-year seniors as inexperienced, said University of Louisiana at center Ian Burks.

Yet Burks agrees that despite previous individual game experience, the UL offensive line is still a work in progress as the Cajuns point to their Sept. 4 season opener at Georgia.

Departed from UL’s offensive line are 2009 All-Sun Belt Conference selections Chris Fisher and Brad Bustle. Add the loss of tackle Kyle Pirtle, and Burks finds himself some what of a stranger in a familiar land.
