The coaches were quick on the whistles, but there was some good hitting in the Oklahoma drills. During the middle drills, the offensive line played much better today against the defense. But the defense is still ahead at this time, Saturdays scrimmage will be a better measuring stick for both sides of the ball.
All three new RB's showed some flashes, Streeter having the longest run from scrimmage against the third defense. Chris Masson threw the ball well today, Gautier struggled on the short passes in the flats and intermediate routes.
Surgent and Butler received extra reps with Vernon Wolfe, Richie Falgout, Boris Anyama and Goodlett sitting out with injuries. Both look like they will press for playing time this season.
The offensive line is trying to develop the second group behind the starters right now, with several freshmen pushing for time with that group.
