Football Has the most potential because all it can do is grow, it can't get worse

    Mens Basketball.

I'm going with football because -with sustained winning- I could easily picture a 300% increase in fan support/attendance.

Football is the obvious answer. Winning in football would bring revenues that would be felt throughout the entire athletic program.

No cajun sport has been as bad as football the past 8 years, including WBB. The potential for growth here is staggering.

I voted for women's basketball. I think the women's team will be even better next year and continue to surprise and please people at a school that has not had success in that program for a very long time.

I just saw the pictures that Cajun Charlie gave the forum and I now think with the new track that this is the sprt with the most potential for growth. It will help recruiting and will generate interest and will even help all sports. If they renew the Southwestern relays, this sport will take off. Does anyone know why did they ever stop?

It's more than just attendance, mens basketball is about to get major, and in so doing will experience the most growth.

We will look back at 2004 as the last year before baseball took off for the big time.

My vote was soccer. I am not a "soccer fan" per se; but it is such a fast growing sport nation wide, and with the recent commitment to foster the sport at UL, I see it as having a very strong potential to grow rapidly. New facility won't hurt either :<))
