JP, do you have that backwards. I thought Stokes was moved to safety after being signed as a CB and Broadnax was moved back to OLB after being moved to DE last year???

I saw Gauthier play twice last year, Nebraska and Troy. Neb was a bad game, but as great as he looked against Troy, I'm not sure he outplayed either of the other 2 QB's. I'm glad I'm not in charge of who plays QB for the cajuns. I could make a very strong argument for any of the 3.

Granted, his time on the actual field in gameplay has been limited so forming an educated opinion is truly hard. However, if you saw how effective he was against Troy last year, you'd say that he has the most upside. I've pumped this kid up more than anybody. I know that he has the most upside and is the best dual threat QB we have which is the type of player that runs this offense the best. However, he has had trouble grasping certain aspects of the offense in the past according to the coaches but moving and keeping McGuire to other positions in the spring tells me that the coaches are much more comfortable with him in there. I think Masson had a really nice year last year. I think this poor kid is extremely underrated and gets no love. I truly don't care either way who the QB is as long as they move the ball and run the offense well. I'd love to be able to come on here and gloat about calling Gautier's name the past year but I just want the best QB out there.

McGuire is not in the regular QB rotation. He will get on the field in other ways. I do think you will see him run the "wildcat" some.

I think that he a Des are the H backs------both great hands out of the b-field and both I think pretty damn good blockers ---but i still love Gauthier on the bootleg and waggle!!!!!

After watching some practices, it's clear we will see McGuire at RB, WR, FB/H-Back and Wildcat QB this year - maybe even more. Plus he's up to 225 - bigger than Desormeaux as a senior.

Gautier will see action at QB and possibly returning kicks.

so we may see 3 different QBs on the field in a game? Masson, McGuire playing Wildcat and now Gautier will get some action at QB? Is it just me or is that too much?

I've like all the guys but having multiple QBs playing could hurt an offense just as much as it could help us. just my opinion
