SEC to an SEC team...Maybe...But, a LOUISIANA student athlete to a non-conf. school...You gotta ok a release...or find yourself having to address the situation in recruiting...and I am sure the flagship will now have that opportunity....NOT our problem....GEAUX CAJUNS!

I stand corrected on the basketball and/or SEC to SEC rule.

So, did Parrott's article clarify anything?

Also, about the "Yvette is tired of getting beat by the red team". Hollier was with the Purple team this year when the Red team beat them, so I don't think Hollier transferring will have anything to do with which color wins. Although, I am still ____ed that UL beat LSU this year. Not that I would have welcomed playing UCLA, though.

The story with comments from Hollier and Girouard was not put online for some reason. That is handled by our regional copydesk in Monroe. We're trying to find out how to get it online.

WOW----What a feeling to have the other guys having to look like idiots!!!!! Let's see--we have always let the kids play where they wanted and the same with LSU-----Now that we kick their butt--look what happens----BTW things should be pretty good at Lamson this season!!!!! I do think that this thing should be given as much pub as possible----We are in a win-win deal!!!!!

Thanks JP, it's amazing how liberal the policy of releasing athletes has been until now. Two losses in regionals at home will quickly help change policy. Hopefully Hollier will have the opportunity to play against her old program in regionals, with the same result as the past two in Baton Rouge.
