St. Joe's definitely deserved to be a #1 seed. They went undefeated in the regular season, defeating Gonzaga, Richmond, Xavier, Dayton, and Boston College. All of those teams went dancin. They lost 1 game all season before the dance. 1 GAME! And it was against a team they had already beaten earlier this year. SJU went undefeated in the 7th toughest conference in America. OSU lost 2 games in the 4th ranked conference.

Here's another thing. SJU's SOS was ranked 46th. Guess what OSU's was. #47. You want to talk about SJU not being a good number one seed, it was Stanford who didn't deserve to be a #1 if you ask me.

The tournament is not a final ranking, it is an easiest opening round reward. St. Joseph deserved one of the 1-4 easiest openers. OK State deserved one of the 5-8 easiest.
