UL Alum or not, he certainly has not been as vocal and as up front on this issue as many others, including his opponent in the upcoming election. He also apparently didn't have enough interest in this matter to show up for the rally to lift the moratorium recently held at the Cajundome. I'm afraid Mr. Melancon is too worried about how he is viewed by the DNC rather than how he is viewed by the people he was elected to represent.
