Does anyone have any pics of the new Computer Science building on campus that they could post for us out of towners? Appreciate if you do.

Here are some from a weeks ago. The building has been accepted and they (CACS and CS) are currently in the move process.

Thanks Turbine, look forward to new pics. Some tie-in to McNaspy as you suggest would be a good idea and give some tradition to the name.

Thanks Cypremort for that link. I like the look. This building is so way overdue. Nice to see Computer Science get it's own home. I took several Computer Science classes in the early 80's and remember the different class and equipment locations scattered all over the place.

Now if we can get the Engineering Building renovated.......

I notice this is strictly for classes, labs, and faculty offices... no raised floors, etc for systems installations. Looks like a really nice environment for students. Well deserved... long overdue.

Yes, totally different than the "multics room". Wow, brings back so much. Those were the days. Looks very nice indeed. I think I recognize the raised floor with the air handler on Page 2, middle pics. What do you think? Also, looking at the picture with the window (same page), is that just a walkway or is that the old track path partially still there? What about the conference center, is that all for Athletics now? This isn't directed at you but just wondering in general.

Patrick Landry , Lab Manager for CACS took those pictures. He was the CACS representative on the building committee. I toured the building last week. It is really impressive.

A while back someone had asked for pics of the new building at the site of the Old McNaspy Stadium. Right now, I'm having a major brain malfunction and cannot remember what classes this building houses. Is it Computer Science? And I can't remember the name of the building either...BUT I do have pics. Enjoy!
