Bernard flatly stated Baldwin would not have been fired with one year remaining on his four-year contract if he were white. Baldwin was paid for the final year of the contract.

So they paid him to go away and he still wants more.

Honestly ....if he were white, there is a good chance he would have been gone sooner! With the terrible w/l record comes lower ...very lower attendance and all of the rest of the things needed for success!

Right now we are in a deadlock. I doubt there will be a day when either will get nine votes their way. I am pretty sure UL would settle on any other issue but race, and therefore we won't pay him to go away. On the other hand it is costing BaldLose's attorney real money to continue this fight. Hope he does not delude himself into thinking he is protecting African-Americans from unfair practices, and takes the smart route.

Bernard should be forbidden from ever stepping foot on this campus again. And, yes, Baldwinless and Bernard have hurt the cause of black coaches getting opportunities across the country.

    Yes they have.

The thing is when does this insanity stop. The fact that this has continued for as long as it has is mind boggling to me. Sooner or later you would think that with no definitive decision made by a jury that the courts would dismiss the case.

There is probably a reason this claim wasn't in the original suit, and I suspect its because he didn't feel that way at the time.

This is why I asked earlier if there is any additional evidence or something missing that we do not know about. If it is based just on win/loss like you state, how do they not think it's a valid reason when it has happened several times at other programs.
