There are/were many facets to the lawsuit. Most have either been dropped or dismissed. The one thing left is the racial discrimination claim.

Easy answer, at the time we were the only FBS program to have a Black HC in both Basketball and Football. Screams racism.

Oh my! In addition to the 2 black HC's, we were the first historically "white" college in the deep south to integrate. No National Guardsmen needed either; no governor standing in the doorway: no riots. And that was in the 1950's, not the '60's.
