Apparently, the way the judge worded his ruling, there isn’t much room for appeal.

Coming from an attorney close to the case.

I hope Karl Bernard knows he is representing a terrible preacher and coach. Karl has stooped to the lowest of lows. Shameful for a former UL player.

    Good riddance

And yet his firing was racial. LOL!!!! What a joke. Can't even imagine how this suit has lasted as long as it has.

It lasted so long cause lawyers are involved. If I were billing 300 an hour I would drag this thing on as long as I could.

There will be no appeal because there is no basis for appeal. And, someone who suggested Karl Bernard must be a good lawyer is correct. He's very good in a courtroom in front of a jury. But this wasn't a jury trial.

Not surprised. Karl just said one will be considered to save face in public.

  9. UL Football Appeals Court: UL fired coach for 6-27 record, not because of his race

The firing of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's first black head football coach in 2001 was motivated not by race but by his 6-27 record and a decline in attendance and income that threatened the future of the Ragin' Cajuns' program, an appeals court has ruled.

The never ending quest for money. Sadly tarnished his reputation beyond his being a inferior head coach.
