And we have the old fart fossil to thank for that nuclear disaster. The fossil and Ray Blanco set our football teams back a decade for politics.

What was the vote?
No, the state is paying for it. ( you and I) He conned the system on the private school vouchers about as well as anyone could have. Their school tuition went from approx $2500/year to the max allowed by the voucher program of $8,500 a year ........only for the 217 new students with private school vouchers. They put the classrooms in a gym.....with roped off areas to distinguish classrooms. P.O.S. Con-Artist is all he is. I think they were going after him. I hope they made him repay the 1.8million a year for however many years he stole it.
Looks like he's trying to be the successor to Freeman Gosden and Huey Long as the Kingfish, and Karl Bernard is becoming his alma master's Judas.
Of all the universities in the South, none have a more distinguished civil rights record than UL.

This whole suit hinges on the day-one moment when Authenent unnecessarily inserted himself between Shexxnayder and Baldwin.
"When I was hired, the university president told me that I would not be a popular choice because I was African-American. But he promised me that, although I wouldn't have the support of the athletics director, we would weather the storm together." — Former Louisiana football coach Jerry Baldwin
He is suing Shex, not for something Shex did while they worked together but because he never trusted his boss based on a bad seed planted by Authement.
It appears to be the end of the line for former Louisiana head football coach Jerry Baldwin and his quixotic quest for money from the university, which in 2001 fired him — three years into a four-year contract and after the then-woeful Cajuns had compiled a 6-27 record under his leadership.
